Creation and implementation of model tours on manners and moral awareness using Kyoto City certified interpreter guides
Every day from October 2nd to October 21st, 2023
We have created a moral and manners awareness tour departing from Kyoto Station for foreign tourists using a Kyoto City certified interpreter guide (Kyoto City Visitors Host). Through the tour, we will educate foreign tourists by teaching them about Kyoto's history and culture, as well as morals and manners such as empty-handed sightseeing, proper behavior on trains, and taking home garbage with them.

Awareness activities using municipal public relations boards
September 16th to September 30th, 2023
On the approximately 7,500 municipal bulletin boards installed in the city, we will post educational media about ``Kyoto Tourism Morals'' and etiquette to educate tourists walking around the city.

"Excellence in Ethical and Sustainable Tourism Business Practices" Award in 2023
In order to promote the dissemination and further implementation of the "Kyoto Tourism Ethics," we have established the "Excellence in Ethical and Sustainable Tourism Business Practices" Award.
In fiscal year 2022, 25 businesses were selected as recipients of the award, and an award ceremony was held.
