We have created a moral and manners awareness tour departing from Kyoto Station for foreign tourists using a Kyoto City certified interpreter guide (Kyoto City Visitors Host). Through the tour, we will educate foreign tourists by teaching them about Kyoto's history and culture, as well as morals and manners such as empty-handed sightseeing, proper behavior on trains, and taking home garbage with them.

On the approximately 7,500 municipal bulletin boards installed in the city, we will post educational media about ``Kyoto Tourism Morals'' and etiquette to educate tourists walking around the city.

In order to promote the dissemination and further implementation of the "Kyoto Tourism Ethics," we have established the "Excellence in Ethical and Sustainable Tourism Business Practices" Award.
In fiscal year 2022, 25 businesses were selected as recipients of the award, and an award ceremony was held.

Six foreign residents who are familiar with both Kyoto and their home countries gathered to discuss a new style of sightseeing in Kyoto suitable for the post-COVID-19 era.

In order to expand the base of tourism-related businesses that promote initiatives in line with Kyoto tourism morals, we will begin recruiting Company committed to Sustainable Tourism in Kyoto.
